Christ Church, Sparkbrook

Our old Victorian church building.

In July 2005 the original Victorian Christ Church building was badly damaged when a tornado struck Sparkbrook. It was so badly damaged, that it had to be demolished.

We are very lucky to have a fabulous brand new church building, which opened at the beginning of December 2012. The church is modern and light and is a great resource for our school and community.

We currently hold regular Collective Worship sessions there and we also use the building for interviews and staff training.

A missional community is based in the church and do work within our local area.

Our fantastic new church.

Stained glass windows have been saved from the old church and made into a feature.

The eagle lectern has been kept as a reminder of the old church.
