Parents

At Christ Church School we value and believe our home/school partnership is vital to ensuring our children are happy and ready to learn.

We positively encourage parents to support us. If you would like to share your expertise please see Mr Whitehouse, Mrs Collins or Mrs Treacher and we would be happy to chat through our volunteer recruitment process.

Covid-19 and the pandemic has made it more difficult to have parents in the school building. We look forward to increasing the opportunities for parents to meet in the school building as the risk from coronavirus subsides in the 2022/23 academic year.

Inspire Workshops

Our Inspire sessions aim to improve our parent partnership and to inspire our parents to extend the children's learning at home. Parents are invited into school to work alongside their children in a relaxed environment. Our workshops have included reading, writing, Health for Life, design and technology and making maths games. Look out on our newsletters for dates of these workshops.

Community Coffee Mornings/Afternoons

We regularly invite parents and the community to come along for a chat about issues related to our school. Outside agencies such as Prevent, School Nurse, E-safety advisors and Pupil Support Service attend to share information and also invite parents to workshops within school and at other locations.

Our parents support our Christmas and Summer Fairs. These events are always a huge success, and are well attended by our families and the wider community, and raise much needed funds to enhance our children's learning.
