Remote Learning

At Christ Church, our remote learning provision will be provided using the BGFL365 platform, available at www.bgfl365.uk.  Through our provision, we aim to:

  • teach a planned and well-sequenced curriculum so that knowledge and skills are built incrementally

  • check daily whether pupils are engaging with their work, and work with families to rapidly identify effective solutions where engagement is a concern

  • offer variations in content for different ability groups, such as SEND

  • share information on how to access remote learning safely

Work will be provided to your child, ready to access at 9am daily. A member of staff will call every day to check in how how you accessing the work and answer any queries you may have.

The named senior teacher for remote learning is Ms Adams - Headteacher.

Work provided will meet current government guidance and will include:

- Content equivalent in length to the core teaching pupils would receive in school and will include recorded teaching time, and time for pupils to complete tasks and assignments, independently. The amount of remote education provided should be, as a minimum:

▪ Key Stage 1: 3 hours a day on average across the cohort, with less for younger children

▪ Key Stage 2: 4 hours a day
