We have taken part in the Staffordshire Junior Book Awards.  Four children from Year 5 and 6 have had to read 4 chunky books in 4 weeks and then, vote on their favourites.

They also had the opportunity to do some bookish talk with the organiser of the awards - Angela Edwards (from the School Library Service) - sharing their thoughts on the books.

We will be attending the Award Ceremony in July.  Look at them holding the books.
