• We ❤️ books at CC!

  We are going book crazy 📚 in the month of April.

   

  Year 2 are judging picture books for the Children's Book Awards.

   

  Year 5 and 6 pupils are reading 4 novels and choosing their favourite, for the Warwickshire Junior Book Awards.  

   

  Then, in July, 4 lucky children will be able to attend the ceremony and meet the authors.  What an opportunity!

• World Book Day Continues...

  The children at CC have LOVED their booktastic visits to Waterstones.  They are able to get a free book with their World Book Day voucher BUT most of all they get to peruse through all the new children's books that are out.  There is nothing like smelling and holding a brand new book.

• Our 1st EID Card Making Competition at CC

  We have just finished an amazing competition created by our own School Council,

  led by Miss Parvez.  

   

  The children were asked to take part in an EID card competition, creating beautiful handmade cards to spread kindness and bring smiles to children and staff at the Great Ormond Street Hospital.

   

  The winners will be announced by Mrs Asam on Friday 13th March.
