• Spring 1 - Art and Design Week

  We are super excited that it is Art and Design Week at Christ Church.

  This week, every child is engaging in work linked to painting, sculpture or drawing.

  Each class, from Reception to Year 6, is being inspired by a theme and an artist; every children will produce a piece of work.

   

  Each day, I will post pictures to show you what they are getting up to.  

  Enjoy - it is amazing!

   

  SAVE THE DATE!!!! 

  On the Wednesday 25th February at 3.30pm, we will open our Great CC Art Gallery, where you can purchase your children's art piece for £2 each.

   

  

• We have a winner!

  In November, Christ Church entered a poem into a National Poetry Competition, run by the Interfaith Network.  

  Yesterday evening, we received some wonderful news;

  we have a first place winner, at Christ Church;

  it is Hajrah in Y6 🎉🎉🎉.

   

  We are soooooooo proud of her ☺️.

  She will receive a certificate, book and a voucher, in a special assembly.

  Well done Hajrah!

• Celebrating our Christ Church Community

  Today, we were delighted to receive an email from the Education Secretary, Bridget Phillipson, celebrating the work we do at Christ Church to support our children.

   

  I want to thank our Christ Church community, along with our dedicated teachers and support staff, for their unwavering commitment and care.

   

  We know our children are amazing and deserve the very best education and the widest possible curriculum opportunities, so that they can thrive, flourish, and be the very best they can be. Guided by our Christian vision and values, we strive to nurture every child with love, compassion and hope.

   

  Let’s keep working together to ensure Christ Church continues to be a truly special place.

• Breakfast for All!

  Our week long breakfast for all competition win has been amazing.  Every day, every child at CC has received a drink, a pastry and some fruit, to set them up for the day.  It has been a wonderful communal experience.

  We were also excited about having the BBC and Central News come in to see what we have been getting up to this week.  CC is famous!!!
